Jalan Tengku Kelana Klang

There is a special street/area called Little India in Klang. The main street in Little India is Jalan Tengku Kelana, one of the road that connecting North and South Klang and very near to Klang river…. just about 10-15 minutes walking from the nostalgic bridge Jambatan Kota.



Everyday I drive along this road to go home to Port Klang while my eyes enjoying looking to a beautiful and colourful sarees and Punjabi clothes which are displayed in front of many textiles shop. The textile/clothes shop offer gorgeous and lovely sarees, Punjabi suits, salwar karneers and lenga’s with all sewn to a perfection.
Restaurants and food stalls alongside the road display delicious mouth-watering delicacies, fresh goat’s milk, various Indian breads and colourful spicy and sweet dishes …. maruku, mixed nut, jelebi, laadu, and halva,...and a special banana leaf rice..

Week before Deepavali, Little India in is in Deepavali mood. The street is transformed into a colorful of lights and booming sound of music.

Maore Numa Park

This beautiful park is a world famous garden and landscape. it is so beautiful and green Before 1988 the garden actually was the place for a garbage reclaim ground. Then, with the intention of preserving an environment rich with greenery for future generations, it was designed to be a garden. I feel so free walking on the green grass, breathing fresh and cool air …nyaman betul…rasa macam nak berdiri disitu lama-lama tengok padang yang luas menghijau.

The name "Moerenuma" (Moere marsh) is derived from the word "Moire petsu" in Ainu language, which means "a slowly flowing river". Cantik dan nyaman.

The biggest symbol of the park is a glass pyramid which is located near the eastern entrance. The pyramid has a nickname "Hidamari", which means "sunny spot" in Japanese

Tour to Forbidden City

After I read a book based on a true story “Empress Orchid” (by Anchee Min), I was excited to visit the place where the story in the book happened. So I joined tour group to China…to the place in the story book “The Forbidden City” . The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace which is now houses the Palace Museum. Located in the middle of Beijing, this amazing and impressive palace consisted of 980 buildings. The Forbidden City was declared as a World Heritage site in 1987 and listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

This building is called The Hall of Supreme Harmony. This is the largest hall (from 3 halls) in the Forbidden City. It is the ceremonial centre of imperial power. The Emperor (Dynasty Ming) held court here to discuss affairs of state and for other ceremonial purpose such as coronation, wedding etc.

The Garden inside the Forbidden City.This garden was used exclusively by the imperial family to sip tea, play chess, meditate and generally relax.

Senja di pesisir bakau Pelabuhan Klang

Dua hari lepas, berkesempatan berbuka puasa di bagan salah satu seafood spot di Port Klang.

Sementara menanti waktu berbuka, terasa ingin merakamkan pemandangan hening dan indah tatkala senja. Air laut yang mulai pasang , air laut nampak keruh di kawasan paya bakau berair masin. Sesekali nampak anak ikan berenang dipermukaan air. Jauh ke tengah air, ada bot-bot nelayan kecil. Memang indah pemandangan kala senja itu

One of the exciting place to visit especially for children. Shows, film, game, roller coaster etc. But I prefer keep things in my camera.

Tangkuban Perahu

Tangkuban perahu = translate roughly to “upturning of a boat”.

Located about 30km north to the city of Bandung. It is a popular tourist attraction. So we stop at the Tangkuban Perahu on the way from Jakarta to Bandung Indonesia.

There is a legend for local people (sundanese). The story about “Dayang Sumbi” a beauty who lived in West Java. She cast away her son because of disoberdience. she was granted the power of eternal beauty. After many years, her son return hom . But both of them forgotten and not recognize each other. Her son fell in love with her but later Dayang Sumbi then recognize her son. So to prevent the marriage from taking place, she ask him to build a dam and very large boat before sunrise. However the son managed to complete the task because he also granted with special power. Dayang Sumbi found the dam and boat nearly complete. So she did some tricks to give the impression of sunrise. Her son get angry and frustrated kicked the dam and boat..tu yg boat jadi terbalik tu.

Kaki Wayang: Night at the museum 2

Last week kita tengok movie ni. This film is very entertaining and good movie made for kids and adults. We especially kids will enjoy the silly humor ...and laugh. Plot ceritanya adalah sambungan Night at the Museum..

After two years Larry Daley left the museum and he is now head of Daley Devices, a company that he founded to manufacture his inventions. One day he finds out that the American Museuum of natural History (the Museum where ho worked before as night guard)is closed for renovations, and some will be replaced by holograms. The exhibits will be moved to Federal Museum in washinton.

The next night Larry gets a call from Jedediah (Owen Wilson) informing that that Dexter stole the key of gold thing related to Firaun era. So Larry has to go to Washington ti the Federal Museum and try to help his museum friends. Then lepas tu...tengoklah...semuanya kelakar...

A very special souvenir from one of my trip…Kanazawa. It is a specialty of Kanazawa. From a tea-shop at Higashi Chaya District in Kanazawa. It is believed .. by having/drink tea with leaf gold will give us a very good complexion (please correct me if I’m wrong)..just like the complexion of geisha.

So..apa lagi…belilah satu tu…more than RM100.00…harap-harap kulit mulus macam geisha. Tapi... Sayang pula nak buat minum

Pulau Pangkor is a small and beautiful island off the coast of Perak in north-west peninsular Malaysia in the Straits of Malacca. It can be reached by ferry from Lumut (a small coastal town which synonym with Royal malaysian navy Camp). It is very well known for the white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, canoeing, jungle trekking,tropical fruit and fresh seafood and product from sea especially cuttle fish, udang kering and anchovies, the locals call it ikan bilis. There are many difference kind and quality of the ikan bilis. As you know ikan bilis is a part of nasi lemak meal.

Historically, in the 17th century, the Dutch built a fort in an effort to control the Perak tin trade. In 1874, it was the location of a historic treaty between a contender to the Perak throne and the British government (The Pangkor treaty, which began the British colonial domination of the Malay Peninsula..

I went to see this movie about 2 weeks ago. Luckily I managed to get a seat at the back rows..which is more comfortable… selalunya asyik dapat seat depan je…kena mendongak
Synopsis cerita:
This is a story about one guy Paul Blart (Kevin James), who has a dream to be a police but never be able to complete the police training because of hypoglysemia…where the blood sugar become very low. Blart is staying with his mother (Shirley Knight) and daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez). Both mother and daughter keep try to cheer him up. Blart's mother wants him to start seeing someone again but Paul seems not confident after been left / cheated by his ex-wife. Blart's ex-wife had married him for the green card, had a daughter with him, and then abandoned them. Blart’s daughter tried to convince him to get on an online matchmaking service.
Blart is working as a security mall. He is very serious about his security job and focuses entirely on his work at the Mall as keeping the peace and helping the shoppers find what they're looking for and so on…. Even Blart is good at his job, but he seems not really happy with himself. But there is one little shop-kiosk where the owner of the kiosk, Amy(Jayma Mays) is very sweet and Paul likes her very much..
Then one day, while Blart is busy helping his friend to look after his shop in the mall, a group of men prepare to break into the mall. So…started from here..there are many funny scene… where Blart is trying to save his friend especially Amy and the mall….by having through difficult and funny action and situation…last last….
Endingnya…. As everything resolves, Blart gives Amy her birthday card... dan Sergeant Howard offers Blart a job with the State troopers but Blart decides that he is already where he wants to be and stays with Amy.

Kita tenguk filem ni kira-kira 2 minggu yang lalu. Kita tenguk berdua dengan adik kita. Filem ini adalah hasil kerja kedua Pierre Andre selepas hasil kerja terdahulu "Jangan Pandang Belakang'. Oklah...tapi buat rugi tiket bawa adik kita...dia tak tenguk sangat..asik tutup muka je..isk...

Jangan Tegur mengisahkan Natasya (Julia Ziegler) yang telah terlibat dengan kemalangan jalan raya dan koma selama beberapa minggu. So semasa dalam koma, Natasya sentiasa bermimpi mengenai seorang gadis bernama Baizura (Nadia Mustafar) yang disyaki telah hilang 2 tahun secara misteri tanpa khabar berita. .Kerana naluri ingin tahu, natasya dalam ragu-ragu dan takut ini pun menyiasat....rupa-rupanya Baizura mati kerana dibunuh oleh Mak Usu (kalau tak silaplah) lakunan Ellie sebab tamakkan harta peninggalan opah Baizura ni.

Ada scene rasuk-rasuk...ada scene yang last tu hantu tu cuba menggoda ustaz yang datang nak mengubat Natasya...:)

Pohon Kurma di Padang Pasir

Pohon-pohon kurma ini dirakam ketika saya berpeluang menziarahi Kota Madinah. Pada masa itu, pohon-pohon kurma ini sedang berbuah lebat tapi belum cukup matang untuk dipetik/dikait. Jadi pada lawatan kali ini, saya tidak berpeluang memetik buah-buah kurma seperti lawatan-lawatan ke kebun buah-buahan yang lain sebelum ini. Namun saya bernasib baik kerana tuan punya kebun atau pekerja nya begitu baik memberikan saya beberapa tangkai buah kurma muda sebagai cenderahati. Oleh kerana buah kurma tersebut masih muda dan hijau, jadi rasanya agak kelat. Namun habisnya juga buah-buah kurma muda itu saya makan. Melihatkan demikian, saya diberi lagi beberapa tangkai kurma muda...balik ke hotel...jenuh juga nak menghabiskan buah-buah kurma yang muda tu..hehehehe....

Sweet Plum and Peach at Plum Orchard Near Pirika Kotan Sapporo

I went to Sapporo in 2006 ....attend one international meeting. On the last day in Sapporo, we went to Plum Orchard a place named Pirika Kotan and experiencing of picking and eating fresh fruit at the orchard…plum, peach, berries…. The fruits taste, smell, aroma, texture…all are very sweet. ..The rules…you can eat with no limit …and guess what…I can eat 16 pieces of plum and peach…...

Seronoknya memetik tangerine di Jeju

Masa di Jeju tempuhari, kami berpeluang ke kebun tangerine (limau mandarine kalau di China). Masa tu limau-limau tangerine sedang meranum....bergugus-gugus dan lebat. Sepanjang jalan banyak kebun-kebun tangerine yang hijau dengan daun disulami warna buah yang jingga (oren)
