There is a special street/area called Little India in Klang. The main street in Little India is Jalan Tengku Kelana, one of the road that connecting North and South Klang and very near to Klang river…. just about 10-15 minutes walking from the nostalgic bridge Jambatan Kota.


Everyday I drive along this road to go home to Port Klang while my eyes enjoying looking to a beautiful and colourful sarees and Punjabi clothes which are displayed in front of many textiles shop.

The textile/clothes shop offer gorgeous and lovely sarees, Punjabi suits, salwar karneers and lenga’s with all sewn to a perfection.

Restaurants and food stalls alongside the road display delicious mouth-watering delicacies, fresh goat’s milk, various Indian breads and colourful spicy and sweet dishes …. maruku, mixed nut, jelebi, laadu, and halva,...and a special banana leaf rice..
Week before Deepavali, Little India in is in Deepavali mood. The street is transformed into a colorful of lights and booming sound of music.
