Tatkala menyusuri pantai gold coast

Brad Pitt vs Robert Redford

Topik masih berkisar filem "The Curiouse Case of Benjamin Button". heheh...bukan apa...I berpeluang menonton cerita ni berkali-kali sampai boleh hafal dialog pada setiap scene.
(The topic still about "The Curiouse Case of Benjamin Button"..why...because I get the chance to see this movie more than one time)

I rasa dalam filem ni Brad Pitt tu ada iras-iras Robert Redford. So....I pun cuba2 search internet. kot2 ada cerita yang serupa.

(I think ...Brad Pitt looks like Robert Redford....well ...tried to search internet..)

Memang ada. (Yes....)

So...flashback......zaman sekolah dulu

(Flashback story .....from old schooldays)

I teringat masa zaman sekolah dulu. Biasanya masa kelas BI sesekali Cikgu BI akan pasangkan movie lama. Masa tu kalau nak tengok filem kena pasang filem tu pada projektor...dan biasanya I lah yang selalu busybodi jadi tukang pasang rol filem pada projektor...hinggakan selepas tu tugas pasang filem pada projektor tu dah jadi tugas tetap I.

Salah satu filem yang paling I tak lupa adalah "The Way We Were" lakunan Robert Redford & Barbra Streisand dan paling tak lupa....wajah tampan Robert Redford kih kih kih....(one of the movie that I remember is "The Way We Were" lead by Robert Redford & Barbra Streisand...and I can't forget the handsome face of Rober Redford)...

Tulis blog macam cerita alih bahasa plak yer :)

Memorable quotes for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Benjamin Button: My name is Benjamin Button, and I was born under unusual circumstances. While everyone else was agin', I was gettin' younger... all alone.

Daisy: You're so young.
Benjamin Button: Only on the outside.

Daisy - Age 7: Are you sick?
Benjamin Button: They said I was gonna die soon but, maybe not.
Daisy - Age 7: You're odd.

Benjamin Button: I was thinking how nothing lasts, and what a shame that is.

Daisy: Some things last.

Benjamin Button: Along the way you bump into people who make a dent on your life. Some people get struck by lightning. Some are born to sit by a river. Some have an ear for music. Some are artists. Some swim the English Channel. Some know buttons. Some know Shakespeare. Some are mothers. And some people can dance.

Benjamin Button: Your life is defined by its opportunities... even the ones you miss.

Daisy: Would you still love me if I were old and saggy?

Benjamin Button: Would you still love ME if I were young and had acne? When I'm afraid of what's under the bed? Or if I end up wetting the bed?

Thomas Button: I'm here. I came as soon as I could. The streets were wild. The war is over, Cary.
Caroline Button: [whispers] Promise me he'll have a place.
Thomas Button: [confused] I... I promise. [Caroline draws her last breath and dies]

Daisy: Will you sleep with me?
Benjamin Button: Absolutely.

Benjamin Button: It's a funny thing about comin' home. Looks the same, smells the same, feels the same. You'll realize what's changed is you.
Benjamin Button: I'm always lookin' out my own eyes.
Benjamin Button: I wanna remember us just as we are now.

Daisy: Goodnight Benjamin.
Benjamin Button: Goodnight Daisy.

Benjamin Button: What if I told you that instead of gettin' older, I was gettin' younger than everybody else?

Mr. Daws: Did I ever tell you I was struck by lightning seven times? Once when I was in the field, just tending to my cows: [brief footage of a man getting struck by lightning]
Mr. Daws: Did I ever tell you I been struck by lightning seven times? Once when I was just sittin' in my truck just minding my own business: [brief footage of a man getting struck by lightning]

Benjamin Button: Sometimes we're on a collision course, and we just don't know it. Whether it's by accident or by design, there's not a thing we can do about it. A woman in Paris was on her way to go shopping, but she had forgotten her coat - went back to get it. When she had gotten her coat, the phone had rung, so she'd stopped to answer it; talked for a couple of minutes. While the woman was on the phone, Daisy was rehearsing for a performance at the Paris Opera House. And while she was rehearsing, the woman, off the phone now, had gone outside to get a taxi. Now a taxi driver had dropped off a fare earlier and had stopped to get a cup of coffee. And all the while, Daisy was rehearsing. And this cab driver, who dropped off the earlier fare; who'd stopped to get the cup of coffee, had picked up the lady who was going to shopping, and had missed getting an earlier cab. The taxi had to stop for a man crossing the street, who had left for work five minutes later than he normally did, because he forgot to set off his alarm. While that man, late for work, was crossing the street, Daisy had finished rehearsing, and was taking a shower. And while Daisy was showering, the taxi was waiting outside a boutique for the woman to pick up a package, which hadn't been wrapped yet, because the girl who was supposed to wrap it had broken up with her boyfriend the night before, and forgot.

Benjamin Button: When the package was wrapped, the woman, who was back in the cab, was blocked by a delivery truck, all the while Daisy was getting dressed. The delivery truck pulled away and the taxi was able to move, while Daisy, the last to be dressed, waited for one of her friends, who had broken a shoelace. While the taxi was stopped, waiting for a traffic light, Daisy and her friend came out the back of the theater. And if only one thing had happened differently: if that shoelace hadn't broken; or that delivery truck had moved moments earlier; or that package had been wrapped and ready, because the girl hadn't broken up with her boyfriend; or that man had set his alarm and got up five minutes earlier; or that taxi driver hadn't stopped for a cup of coffee; or that woman had remembered her coat, and got into an earlier cab, Daisy and her friend would've crossed the street, and the taxi would've driven by. But life being what it is - a series of intersecting lives and incidents, out of anyone's control - that taxi did not go by, and that driver was momentarily distracted, and that taxi hit Daisy, and her leg was crushed.

Benjamin Button: [Voice over; letter to his daughter] For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There's no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.

Mrs. Maple: Benjamin, we're meant to lose the people we love. How else would we know how important they are to us?

Captain Mike: You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went. You could swear, curse the fates, but when it comes to the end, you have to let go.

Queenie: You never know what's comin' for ya.
Benjamin Button: Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss.
Queenie: Poor child, he got the worst of it. Come out white.

Mr. Daws: Did I ever tell you I been struck by lightning seven times? Once when I was repairing a leak on the roof. [brief footage of a man getting struck by lightning]

Mr. Daws: Once I was just crossing the road to get the mail. [brief footage of a man getting struck by lightning]
Mr. Daws: Once, I was walking my dog down the road. [brief footage of a man getting struck by lightning]
Mr. Daws: Blinded in one eye; can't hardly hear. I get twitches and shakes out of nowhere; always losing my line of thought. But you know what? God keeps reminding me I'm lucky to be alive. [sniffles]
Mr. Daws: Storm's comin'.

Benjamin Button: Momma? Momma? Some days, I feel different than the day before.
Queenie: Everyone feels different about themselves one way or another, but we all goin' the same way.

Benjamin Button: Some nights, I'd have to sleep alone. I didn't mind, I would listen to the house breathin'. All those people sleepin'. I felt... safe.

Daisy: And in the spring, 2003, he looked at me. And I knew, that he knew, who I was. And then he closed his eyes, as if to go to sleep.
[last lines]

Benjamin Button: Some people, were born to sit by a river. Some get struck by lightning. Some have an ear for music. Some are artists. Some swim. Some know buttons. Some know Shakespeare. Some are mothers. And some people, dance.
Benjamin Button: You never know what's coming for you.
Daisy: I promise you, I'll never lose myself to self-pity again.

Benjamin Button: [while the day begins] And I think, right there and then, she realized none of us is perfect forever.
Daisy: Have you slept with a woman before?

Benjamin Button: Never on a Sunday.
Daisy: We all end up in diapers.
Elizabeth Abbott: [after she has removed her shoes and left the elevator... Benjamin give her a quizzical look] I broke a heel! I don't make it a point to walk about in my stocking feet!

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,”. The film is adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond,

“Benjamin Button,” is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time. The story is about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards.

Following, the story synopsis…from what I've seen and also refer from web…………………..

The scene started with the elderly Daisy is on her deathbed with her daughter in 2005. Daisy tells the story of a blind clockmaker named Gateau who was commissioned to create a clock to hang in the New Orleans train station. After receiving news of his son's death in World War 1 he continued work on his clock, but designed it to run backward, hoping it would bring back those who died in the war. Then Daisy asks Caroline to read aloud from a diary containing photographs and postcards written by Benjamin Button. Caroline begins to read as the story transitions to Benjamin's narration. “I was born under unusual circumstances.” ………………………………………

On November 11, 1918, just as the people of New Orleans are celebrating the end of World War I, a baby boy is born with the appearance of an elderly man. The mother of the baby dies shortly after giving birth, and the father, Thomas Button, takes the baby and abandons him on the porch of a nursing home. A couple Queenie and Tizzy, who work at the nursing home, find the baby names the baby Benjamin.
As the young boy, Benjamin looks older as seventies. He meets a young girl named Daisy whose grandmother lives in the nursing home. The children play together and listen to Daisy's grandmother read from a storybook.
A few years later, Benjamin goes to work on a tugboat on the docks of New Orleans for Captain Mike. The captain takes him to brothels and bars and Benjamin slowly exposed to the real life. Benjamin then meets Thomas Button (his father) but he Thomas still keep the secret of who’s Benjamin. Later Benjamin leaves New Orleans with Capten Mike and his crews for a long-term work. Daisy asks Benjamin to send her postcards from his travels, which Benjamin does.
During a stay in Russia, Benjamin meets a British married woman named Elizabeth Abbott and falls in love with her. They have a short time affair and Daisy feel hurt. In 1945, Benjamin returns to New Orleans, and learns that Daisy has become a successful dancer in New York. He finds Daisy has fallen in love with a fellow dancer, and tries to accept that their lives have separated.
Benjamin goes back to New Orleans and meets Thomas Button, who is dying. Thomas reveals to Benjamin that he is his father and bequeaths all of his assets to Benjamin, including the house and the family button-making business. Benjamin eventually makes peace with his father before the elder Button dies.
Daisy's dance career is ended when she get injured in an accident in Paris. Benjamin goes to see and visit her, Daisy is amazed at his youthful appearance, but frustrated at her own injuries, she turns him away by telling Benjamin to stay out of her life.
In 1962, Daisy returns to New Orleans and meets Benjamin again. Now with same physical age, they fall in love and move in together. Daisy gives birth to a girl, Caroline. Benjamin believe he cannot be a father to his daughter due to his reverse aging, and not wanting to burden Daisy with having to raise two children He sell his belonging and keep the money in Caroline’s account. He leaves them both and travels the world.
In 1980, Benjamin, now looking like a young man, returns to meet Daisy in her dance studio. The aging Daisy is now married to Robert Williams, a kind man who supports her well, to Benjamin's relief. Daisy introduces Benjamin to Robert and the 12-year-old Caroline as a long-time family friend. Daisy and Benjamin then meet privately in Benjamin's hotel where they share their passion for each other, but they mutually realize that Daisy has become too old for Benjamin.
(This is the very touching part……)
Benjamin departs again and continues to grow younger. One day Daisy receives a phone call from social workers. They inform her that they found Benjamin - now a young pre-teen just hitting puberty - living in a condemned building, and that they called her because they saw her name all over his diary. The social workers believe that he has dementia he sometimes forgets that he had just eaten and cannot remember Daisy or much of his past. Daisy moves into the nursing home where Benjamin grew up and takes care of him as he becomes a confused 5-year-old boy with a growing temper.
In 2002, Mr. Gateau's old clock is removed from the train station. Shortly afterward, in the spring of 2003, the now-physically infant, 85-year-old Benjamin dies in Daisy's arms. At the moment before Benjamin dies, Daisy claims to have seen in his eyes that he still remembered her. Benjamin Button quotes : [Voice over; letter to his daughter] For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again

Ronda ke kotaraya Jakarta

Kali ini saya kepingin berbahasa Indonesia. Jangan kaget...jangan ketawa. nah...baca saja.

Pernah ke kotaraya Jakarta? Kehidupannnya sibuk sekali. Foto dibawah bisa bercerita..jadi gue/saya tak perlu menulis panjang.

Kesibukan Kotaraya Jakarta yang enggak pernah sepi.

Mobilnya bersimpang siur. Sibuk bangat.

Notakaki: Actually I am very busy (with the power of infinity...hehehe...) with work. But still trying to blog... semangat tu beb...

P.S. I Love you

About a year ago, one of my good friends, June called me and asked to check my letter box. She sent me a novel as she knew I love reading. The Novel “PS, I Love You” .. by Cecelia Ahern’s debut novel. (Later I found out the author, Cecelia Ahern is a daughter of Ireland's Prime Minister). This tearjerker novel made me takes time to finish as it keep me fought my tear as I read it chapter by chapter.
The story is about a young Irish widow, Holly Kennedy in Ireland, who must put her life back together after she loses her husband Gerry to a brain tumour. So when Gerry's life is taken by an illness, it takes the life out of Holly. Before he died, Gerry wrote a series of 10 letters that designed to help her face the year ahead and carry on with her life. Each monthly letter is Gerry’s way of informing Holly life goes on. The monthly messages include various tasks and treats Gerry has left for Holly , to help Holly facing the life, such as buying new clothes, finds a new job, takes a holiday with her girlfriends and so on and each signs off in the same way: "P.S. I Love You.". Accompanying Holly throughout the healing process is family members and friends with her and gives her all sort of support.
Thanks June. I love the novel… its really touching till the internal ventricle of my heart…My tears keep flowing as I read the story.
Recently I discovered this novel has been adapted to a movie “ P.S. I Love You” in 2007 with Hillary Swank lead the character, Holly and Gerald Butler as her deceased husband.

Sightseeing in Tokyo

During my last visit in japan, I spent a few days in Tokyo. Walked around and picking up souvenirs & gadjet and taking photo.

Train station complex
People ....walking & trying to catch up train. They looked in hurry all the time. But while in train, they read book or busy clicking hp...maybe playing games or sms.

Young singer showing their talent. .... cute and cool.

Night scene in Tokyo...while walking back to train station.
